Ladies, are you stuck in the daily grind and in desperate need of a reset?
Know an awesome woman who could do with some time out in this space?
A big shout out to all women (inclusively) going over and above, and turning themselves inside out for the people and work they love!
More than ever we need to hit the pause button and take time out from the grind to reconnect, reflect and have some fun.
The GAGOTG festival is designed exactly for this purpose. A welcoming, unpretentious and supportive space to stop, take stock and find your courage with some new, (safely) out-of-your-comfort zone adventures.
Come along as a group or fly solo and find your tribe... (yep, we can cater for work or community team building/bespoke activities if you arrange to come along together. Just flick us an email). The festival is now in its fifth year and we have an ever-increasing number of girls weekend away-ers who've made it a yearly thing!
The Get a Grip of the Grind festival is an immersion weekend designed to give like-minded women the opportunity to take time out from usual life, reconnect with themselves, others and their aspirations through shared knowledge, workshops, nature-based and adventure activities.
The festival is run by volunteers at cost price, with a pay it forward attitude. Tickets are great value as a result and provide a ‘come and try’ opportunity for outdoor and adventure activities that are typically equipment or cost prohibitive for beginners.
The festival was purpose-built to empower women to live their best life. The festival model is informed by evidence-based research across performance coaching, psychology, nature, adventure, and immersion-based interventions.
The festival has grown rapidly in response to demand and word of mouth recommendation. The festival has been so impactful for past attendees that the Universities of Melbourne and Newcastle have been working hard to capture its capacity for and mechanisms of change through research.
The festival was founded and continues to be supported by a dedicated team of women who believe in the importance of creating safe spaces for women to create fulfilling lives. Check out the website for a full overview of the founding and ambassador crew as well as our 2023 speakers and activities.
Please pay it forward and share this information to all of the women in your circle who you know deserve it!
