Therapeutic Fees

**Please note that our fees are subject to change.

Standard fees for 60min session for self-referral, private health or Mental Health Care Plan (before rebates):

- Endorsed (Counselling, Clinical, Education & Developmental, Health etc) Psychologist: $260.

- Registered Psychologist: $205 to $210 depending on the clinician seen.

- Accredited Mental Health Social Worker: $190.

- Child and Family Therapist: Initial 90 minute appointment: $195, standard subsequent appointment: $165.

- Provisional Psychologist: $105.

Other funding source (eg NDIS, TAC, Workcover, VOCAT etc) fees may vary.  Gap co-payments apply in some cases.  Please contact our office for more information.

- Endorsed (Counselling, Clinical, Education & Developmental, Health etc) Psychologist: Medicare rebate $141.85. Out of pocket: $118.15.

- Registered Psychologist: Medicare rebate  $96.65. Out of pocket: $108.35.

- Mental Health Social Worker: Medicare rebate $85.20. Out of pocket: $104.80.

*Please note that Provisional Psychologists and Child & Family Therapists unfortunately are not eligible for Medicare rebates.  We charge a lower fee for Provisional Psychologists ensuring gap fees are comparable.  

All of our assessment prices include the cost of Intake Information, Feedback Session, and Report writing. We will send Invoices to be paid before the initial assessment appointment. 

**Please be aware these are our starting fees.  At times complex assessments require additional processes such as case conferences or longer reports, which will have added fees, we will inform you before conducting. 

**Please also note that under some circumstances Medicare rebates may apply for assessment sessions. Please contact our administration team for more information and to see if you are eligible.

We offer Engagement sessions with a Clinical Psychologist prior to being added to our assessment waitlist to help understand your needs and to ensure we are able to support you in the best possible way. The fee for engagement sessions is $130 and can be covered by Medicare if you have a MHCP or NDIS. 

1. Assessment of Needs(NDIS)/Cognitive Assessment:

Consists of an online survey sent to carers and the school, and a Weschler Intelligence scale conducted in our clinic.

   - Provisional/Registered Psychologist: $1435

   - Clinical Psychologist: $1820 

2. Educational/Specific Learning Disorder Assessments:

Consists of an online survey sent to carers and schools, a Weschler Intelligence Scale (WISC/WAIS) and the Wechsler Individual Academic Test Scale (WIAT), as well as the Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing  (CTOPP)  conducted in our clinic.

   - Provisional/Registered Psychologist: $2870

   - Clinical Psychologist: $3640

3. Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder Assessments:

Consists of an online survey sent to carers and schools, a Weschler Intelligence scale (WISC/WAIS/WPPSI) conducted at our clinic, and the Diagnostic Interview for ADHD (DIVA).

   - Provisional/Registered Psychologist: $1845 

   - Clinical Psychologist: $2340

4. Autism Assessment:

Consists of an online survey sent to carers and school, a Weschler Intelligence scale (WISC/WAIS/WPPSI) and an Observation Schedule (ADOS) conducted at our clinic, and the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R), with a needs assessment sent to carers and school for areas of daily living skills, community skills, and domestic skills.

   - Provisional/Registered Psychologist: $3075

   - Clinical Psychologist: $3900

5. Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder add-on:

Autism and ADHD have a comorbidity of 50-70%, if you would like to get assessed for both we offer an add-on option as to not repeat psychometrics.

   - Provisional/Registered Psychologist: $820 

   - Clinical Psychologist: $1040

6. Disability Support Pension(DSP) Assessment:

In line with the government guidelines, this is completed through a structured interview, as well as an online survey for the examinee and possible carers.  

   - Provisional/Registered Psychologist: $1640 

   - Clinical Psychologist: $2080

7. Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Assessment:

In line with the government guidelines, this is completed through a cognitive assessment, an educational assessment, and an executive functioning assessment.

   - Provisional/Registered Psychologist: $3280 

   - Clinical Psychologist: $4160
