We are accredited to deliver services including Medicare (Mental Health Care Plans), NDIS, Workcover, TAC, VAP/Victims of Crime, Open Arms Counselling Service (Veterans and Families), Private Health Insurance, EAP and Self-funded self-referrals.
We help clients with psychological and mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, adjustment, trauma, grief & loss, separation, life stage and change, relationships difficulties, self esteem issues, mental health in the context of disability and injury, carer support, major Mental Health Disorders, and substance use and abuse issues.
Our Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers and Therapists use a variety of interventions according to client's needs, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, Family work, Parent-Child work, Play Therapy, EMDR, Poly-Vagal informed therapies, and, Psychodynamic Therapies.
We are a private clinic and fees apply. Someone clients may be eligible for funding or rebates under various government initiatives.
Our clinic offers clinical and medico-legal assessments for diagnosis, reporting and recommendations. Our Clinical Psychologists are available for Disability Support Pension (DSP) assessments and reporting to meet Centrelink requirements.
Our Psychometric Assessment Clinic in Lancefield, Victoria, offers child, adolescent and adult Cognitive Assessments, Intellectual Disability and Adaptive Behaviour Assessment, Education and Specific Learning Disorder Assessments and Coordination of Comprehensive Needs Assessment for Autism Spectrum diagnosis and recommendations.
Cognitive Assessment
A cognitive assessment is used to assess a person's intellectual function(IQ). The tests administered are the Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence – Fourth Edition(WPPSI), Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition(WISC), or Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition(WAIS), depending on the persons age. These tests can assist with identifying how an individual processes information and identify cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
Educational(Specific Learning Disorder) Assessment
An educational assessment is used to assess a person’s academic functioning. The test administered is the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test – Third Edition(WIAT) and the cognitive assessment may need to be conducted in addition. This test provides information regarding a person’s academic strengths and weaknesses, informing eligibility for educational services and diagnosis of a specific learning disability, for example; dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia.
ASD Assessment
Autism spectrum disorder, commonly shortened to Autism or ASD, is a developmental condition that can impact individuals at all stages of life. The assessment involves a clinical diagnostic interview with a person's parent/guardian/close friend called the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised(ADI-R), the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition(ADOS), a cognitive assessment and additional assessment questionnaires may to be completed by parents, teachers or other family members too.
ADHD Assessment
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, most commonly abbreviated to ADHD, is a neurodevelopmental disorder that impacts people of all ages. The tests administered are the cognitive assessment, a diagnostic interview(DIVA) and assessment questionnaires to be completed by parents/family members or teachers. Please note that a Psychologist is not able to prescribe medication for ADHD, for medication, a Psychiatrist assessment would be necessary.

We love our role as a regional and telehealth placement and supervision facility for Master of Psychology students, Psychology Interns (Provisional Psychologists) and Registrar Psychologists (Clinical and Counselling). It is our way of contributing to the ongoing mental health care of our community. We have a limited number of low-cost psychological services (face to face and telehealth) available as part of this program. All services are delivered under supervision. GP, agency or self-referrals are welcome.
