Katrina brings almost 25 years of experience across the spectrum of child and adult assessment and intervention for trauma and mental health disorders, child & family work and supervision of psychology trainees and registrars.
Her areas of interest include anxiety, adjustment, stress & burnout, trauma, PTSD, Complex PTSD, child and parent work, women's mental health, complex Mental Health Disorders, EMDR and supervision and mentoring of provisional and registrar (Clinical and Counselling) Psychologists.
Katrina primarily uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy , EMDR, Exposure Therapy, Family Therapies and Multi-systemic Therapy in her practice.
Katrina has founded two regional psychology clinics and worked or consulted in NFP, corporate and government spaces. She completed her Masters of Psychology at Monash University and is currently completing her PhD (ADF Veteran Parenting in the context of PTSD, CPTSD and Moral Injury) at the University of Newcastle, under scholarship of Australian Rotary Health and the RSL.

Kaitlyn is a passionate and empathetic Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor with lived experience as a neurodivergent individual managing chronic health conditions. Kaitlyn is dedicated to supporting adolescents and adults through a neuro-affirming approach. She believes in understanding and embracing the diversity of your experiences, including those with Neurodivergent traits that may align with Autism, Attention Deficit/ Hyperactive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Attachment and Trauma concerns, and other conditions. By adopting a neuro-affirming perspective, she strives to create a safe and validating space for individuals of all neurotypes.
Kaitlyn provides evidence-based interventions from a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, with aspects of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy. By integrating these approaches with neuro-affirming principles, Kaitlyn helps clients develop a sense of empowerment and awareness.
Kaitlyn has an interest in helping those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those who have concerns around sexuality and gender identity. Kaitlyn has also worked closely with different cultures, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Kaitlyn’s approach is open and friendly, as well as non-judgemental.

As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Margaret has a breadth of experience in assessing and treating adults and young people who have mental health disorders including: Depression, Anxiety including OCD, Relationship problems and adjustment issues, drug and alcohol problems, adolescents and Eating Disorders
Margaret is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with ANZAED with over 10 years experience with the treatment of eating disorders, including Anorexia, Nervosa, Bulimia, and Binge eating disorders.
Margaret uses a range of evidenced based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for trauma including PTSD, and a Strengths based approach including Motivational Interviewing, she is also a registered primary and secondary school teacher with experience and qualifications working with children and adolescents.

Matthew has been providing counselling and support services for many years. He is currently completing practice requirements towards full registration as a Psychologist. Matthew has worked with Streatfeild &Co Psychology since January 2021.
Matthew has experience working in large and small scale age care centres in the private and community sectors, in the aviation industry helping employees with mental health concerns related to shift work, stress, anxiety and sleep disturbance, and, in the finance industry providing support for the mental health impacts of financial duress and mental health factors associated with money worries.
Matthew has worked with a wide range of age groups and has a passion for male mental health concerns and disorders, parenting skills, and trauma related issues ranging from early childhood through to recent traumatic events.
Matthew uses therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, and Resource Therapy.

Catherine completed her Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical) in 2012 and has since been working with children, young people, and their families navigating mental illness, childhood trauma and neurological differences (ASD, ADD, ADHD).
Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, disruptions to attachment, challenging behaviours across home and school settings, and child and family work.
Catherine’s primary approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mentalisation Based Therapy, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - with an emphasis on systemic interventions. Her focus is on working with children, young people, and their families to gain a robust understanding of their strengths and what is important to them to inform intervention choices.

Shianne is a client-centred provisional psychologist who is working towards full registration as a psychologist. Shianne enjoys working collaboratively with children, adolescents and adults and strives to create a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic environment to support personal growth and wellbeing.
Shianne adopts a flexible approach to counselling to facilitate each individual client’s needs. Shianne has a special interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Shianne has experience working with people with a variety of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidality/self harm, personality disorders and self-esteem issues. Shianne has experience in positive behaviour therapy and has an extensive background working with people with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities.
Additionally, as an approved NDIS behaviour support practitioner, Shianne is equipped to create behavioural plans and offer specialised parenting/care sessions tailored to families or carers with children who have specific behavioural needs. Navigating the intricacies of parenting can be challenging, and Shianne is here to provide guidance, support and evidence based techniques to enhance the wellbeing of both children and parents/carers. Together, Shianne will explore strategies that promote positive behaviour, improve communication and foster a positive and nurturing home environment.

Bradley completed his Bachelor degree in Psychology at the University of Newcastle in 2013 before moving to Melbourne where he completed the 4+2 Internship pathway to General Registration as a Psychologist in 2023.
Bradley has extensive experience working with people living with a disability and their families under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), providing support and therapy from a holistic systemic approach.
Bradley has a passion for providing psychological support to people from diverse communities and backgrounds, and a key interest in providing awareness and support to the LGBTIQA+ community.
Bradley uses a blend of psychological evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and assessment tools such as the Weschler suite of assessments and the ADOS to formulate and diagnose conditions and to inform appropriate direction for support and treatment.

Sally is a registered psychologist, who completed her Masters Degree in Professional Psychology at La Trobe University Bendigo in 2020 and has since been working with clients from various cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Sally has experience in supporting clients of all ages and life stages who have experienced trauma, severe life stressors, depression, anxiety, pain and physical challenges, and mental health related issues. She works from a person-centred, strengths-based approach and provides a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to empower her clients to gain insight into their behaviour to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
Sally tailors’ evidence-based treatments to the individuals need, with experience delivering Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Schema Therapy.

Family Therapist

Having over twenty years experience of working with children within the disability field having extensive experience of working with children and adults diagnosed with Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Intellectual disability (ID), Acquired Brain injuries (ABI) and comorbidity with a mental health issues.
Additionally Tony has worked with many more psychopathological issues within the disability field. Tony has been counselling since 2011 in a variety aspects of psychological wellbeing issues to the general public.
Tony’s work and study lead him to the youth justice system where he worked with some of the most challenging behaviours presented by children within the state of Victoria. Developing an interest in the field of Child Development, Trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and many more presenting psychological issues by children within that system.
Tony worked with carers and youth justice workers as a Therapeutic Practice Leader to assist the management of the children in protective care. It was during this phase of Tony’s development he conducted several types of assessments, relationship interventions and reflective practice sessions with staff, care teams and families.
Tony continued this work as a Therapeutic Specialist working with carers, families and care-teams in the residential care setting. This work included keep children away from antisocial behaviour and towards prosocial activities and assisting parents and carers by conducting assessments, interventions and working with the children. Tony worked extensively with children presenting with Trauma symptomatology and associated issues, continuing for a number of years and became interested in Child Play Therapy and commenced training as a therapist.
More recently Tony has been a Clinician working with foster families to maintain and preserve the family structure. Tony continues and values his work with children, families and carers, whilst presenting courses on therapeutic practice and Trauma to various professional groups whilst continuing his own professional development through various Universities.’

Telehealth Services- Stephanie conducts sessions via Telehealth and is not available to see Face to Face clients.
Stephanie is a Registered Psychologist who has recently completed her Masters of Advanced Professional Psychology. She has worked with Streatfeild & Co Psychology since August 2022.
Stephanie has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced depression, anxiety, phobias, substance-related issues, OCD, and trauma. Stephanie also takes a neuroaffirming approach in working with individuals with ADHD and Autism, including providing family support for neurodiverse children.
Stephanie uses therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches to promote, maintain, and enhance mental wellbeing and day-to-day functioning.
Stephanie’s overall approach is person-centred, gentle, and compassionate. She approaches therapy with a strengths-based view to help individual’s live their most meaningful life using their own strengths and newly developed coping skills.
Provisional Psychologist

Fiona is a Provisional Psychologist who is working towards full registration as a psychologist, and is available for therapeutic services and counselling.
As a Provisional Psychologist, Fiona will practice under the supervision of a registered Clinical Psychologist at the clinic.
Fiona provides low-cost services at $105 per session (no Medicare rebate). This is less than the standard gap fee that applies for Registered Psychologists.

Low cost, time limited face to face and telehealth services when available.
Streatfeild & Co Psychology are proud to be a placement and training organisation for Masters degree students and Mental Health Course students completing their practical placements towards finalisation of their qualification.
Our organisation works with several universities and training providers providing placement and support services for our up and coming Psychologists and Mental Health workers.

Provisional Psychologist

Aled is a Provisional Psychologist in his final year of study at La Trobe University. He is on placement at Streatfeild & Co Psychology between July and December 2024, working under the supervision of Kirstie Machen, a Clinical Psychologist at Streatfeild & Co Psychology. Aled is currently available for therapeutic services and counselling on Tuesdays and Thursdays providing low-cost services at $105 per session.
Aled has previously worked as a grief counsellor, providing emotional support to adult clients and assisting them through their feelings of loss and grief. He is a passionate, warm, and dedicated Provisional Psychologist who focuses on building an effective therapeutic relationship with the client to build trust and confidence.
He has foundational training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and foundational knowledge of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to utilise these treatment interventions to assist
clients in focusing on their therapeutic goals. Aled takes a person-centred approach that is flexible and empathetic to each client's individual needs and has worked with adult clients from various
cultures and backgrounds.
